The BelleVie™ Ceramic Hair Auto Curler

I was hesitant about this at first due to the price and the 4.0-star review. However, I got a good deal, so I decided to try it. I was really happy with the curls it gave. I used the 6s at 360°F, and the curls lasted all day. My 5-star rating is based on my satisfaction with the curls and how portable it is; I used it while we were traveling, placing it on my lap while sectioning my hair. I wasn't worried about getting burned at all. I still can't comment on the battery life since it's new and I've only used it once so far.

So I'll address some things I've read. It took about 20 minutes to do my whole head. This is the result from the first use. When I was done I had three bars still left on the battery so the battery was no problem at all. Someone said something about their hair getting tangled. I did my whole head with not a trouble one time. So this thing is great!! No cord makes it even greater! I hate cords! I thought well I might come out looking a little crazy but my first time out it turned out just the way I wanted it to. All I need is a three-way mirror or one of those accordion mirrors so I can actually hold my hair and the curler at the same time to see the back of my head. But that would be true for anything that you're using on the back of your head. I read reviews of other ones and I had another one that was the tulip looking one. I forget what it's called but it's pretty big and cumbersome. Actually. I do have some layers in my hair and I was afraid maybe it wouldn't work because my hair wouldn't be long enough because all the videos have videos of girls with long hair but it was no problem at all. Great! Great purchase!

I really like this product for the long-lasting curls it creates. Mine last until the next shampoo (2-3 days). The first day the curls are tighter, 2nd and 3rd day they are more relaxed and loose - almost beachy. I have shoulder length hair, med thick, highlighted. The length of time a charge lasts is a downside. However, the charge lasts long enough to do my whole head. After one use I recharge for about 5 hours, put away in my cupboard and it's ready to go the next time I need it. In regard to tangling I think I found the cause. When hair is used from multiple areas of the head at once it will get tangled. This happened to me when I was trying to speed things up by putting more hair into the chamber, especially on the back of my head where I couldn't see if I was grabbing hair from just one area and not the surrounding area. Combing out sections and using clips to prevent hair from the area surrounding your desired section to get into the curling chamber will help prevent this. I’m absolutely inept at doing my hair and am usually very much a wash and go girl. Whenever I get my hair done at the salon I love leaving with curls and couldn’t figure out a wand to save my life! I finally bought this & charged over night as instructed. I left it unplugged after waking up in the morning, it died after I did half my head so I was disappointed but charged it again after, used it the day after and it finished my whole head! Not sure if one of my kids managed to unplug it or what but it definitely got the job done! I had 1 bar left by the time I finished, so battery life could be better. But I love my curls now!

I curled my hair in less than 10 minutes! The curls last for DAYS (depending on each person’s hair)! I slept on them and went to the gym in them and the curls lasted. Didn’t have to use hair spray. It didn’t get stuck in me. You just really need to brush your hair and don’t take big sections!

The only curling iron I use. Keeps curls in my thin hair for 2 days!!!
